Solar technology is growing so rapidly that as consumer, I would prefer to wait for couple of more years before making investment in it. Its like buying a PC couple of years back. If you don’t really need it, wait - prices will come down or you will get much better performance for the same price.
Good for the planet.

True with the PC comparison and that pretty much goes for all technology that is growing, i guess. Even with windmills, they are getting a lot sleeker and cooler looking with each passing day.
