I suppose that is a very cynical and probably even accurate take on things Manish. Water level need not rise for things like this to work, but I can see where you are coming from. Hopefully that is a scenario we will avoid happening :)

I hope so too. G8 says to bring down emission to half by 2050. Hopefully they have done their homework right else we all will be with these snakes long before that :)

I think these G8’s and Kyoto’s rarely help as countries are not really bound by them and hence they do not really achieve the targets they need to. While some stick to it, most just put it in the bin. To not end up along with these tidal snakes and make sure the ice caps stay solid, it is the people who need to spread the awareness and think carefully before using energy. If we explore renewable energy options we have a chance to stay dry i guess...
