I wonder how they dealt with the fact that Lithium is flammable and potentially explosive when exposed to oxygen? Lithium will ignite and burn in oxygen when exposed to water or water vapors. Lithium fires are difficult to extinguish, requiring special chemicals designed to smother them, I wonder if GM will provide them to fire departments? I wonder how harmful those special extinguishing agents are on the environment....
