CHRISTIANO RONALDO ...there can’t be a better striker than him in world football at present. Though a few of the biggest experts of the game vouch for Didier Drogba, I just love the ease with which this Portuguese international pierces the field. Great skill topped with control makes him a brilliant finisher. Over the last couple of years he has matured as a player making him all the more dangerous on the pitch. He has been a major influence in Uniteds’ success this season. GO ON RONALDO!!!

I hated Ronaldo for his diving and at times for unnecessary trickery. Sir Alex really got hold him and have now turned him into a mature player, who has been in devastating form this season.
Barca vs. Man United. My mouth is watering already...

It certainly sounds tempting. The 17 year old forward from Barca has been in news for all the right reasons.Lets c who puts the ball past the bar first. I definitely would vouch for Ronaldo but I wish I am proved wrong for its always pleasing to see a new lad ruling th roost.

Barca vs Man U. I suppose Real is not even in the equation. Anyway, Ronaldo indeed has come a long way and I know that I cannot vouch for it now, but the first time I saw him, I knew he would be a star. I have been a big mark of Figo and Ronaldo has taken his style and taken it further. That skip, hop and dancing over the ball is vintage Figo at his best. Even that wonderful stuttering free kick and that powerful strike are so like Luis Figo. The great mid fielder might be gone, but his influence lives on. I think Messi will be the difference maker.

Messi is more about speed than fluency. I’ve seen him getting stuck in situations which make him look ugly at times. I believe ManU will also ride on the fact that their performance as a team has been superlative throughout the season and a few more games at that, they could well be crowned the Champion of Champions. Would be great to see them clash, cant just wait to see them battle it out and prove us right or wrong quickly!!!

What could mess it up for United though is their Premiership title hopes. If they try and concentrate too much on the home circuit, they may go on to loose focus in Europe. But yes Barca vs. United is a very realistic proposition in the semifinals. Then surely an English club beckons in the finals.

I would not like an all English final and would like to see Barca there for a change. We get the EPL matches anyway. Arsenal vs Barca... A young Messi vs A young Fabregas... that should be awesome, provided both are on song. On form though I have to agree that it would be hard to beat Man U. Yes, Man U is indeed a better team than Barca, but barca has in it to pull it back.
