It is really nice to see people working on alternate energy sources that involve wind energy as it seems most often everyone is consumed only by solar powered and how to enhance its usage. While the slight bend towards one source is understandable...

That is one of the major benefit of wind energy that people tend to ignore. While it may not always work, it most often helps when the other sources of power fail. This is exactly why many Lighthouses across the world are trying to switch to wind energy and hopefully will very soon.

Actually Sameer, I believe this can be great as emergency lighting in remote places on hills, places prone to storms etc... Its places like this where grid and solar lights won’t work but this is brilliant.

Hey this thing is fantastic! And I loved the fact that in stormy conditions when solar or regular electricity will fail, this will infact be the brightest!!!! (so long as it remains upright that is :))
