They are Buddhist monks in striking saffron robes on a rare field trip. The one main reason for the one-hour journey from Matara to Galle in a rickety bus by these holy men was to see Sachin Tendulkar in action.

Galle is indeed a beautiful venue to be for all cricket lovers. To the sadness of the Sri-lankans, the home team could not pull off a victory here thanks to the blistering sehwag nonetheless, this doesn’t take the charm off the beauty of the stadium. Good to read that we also have some monks that admire the little genius.

Sachin is a God if Cricket is a religion. Monks seem to be attesting this in their reverence to the little master.
Galle always has been treated as the Mecca of Cricket in Sri Lanka and a home defeat is the saddest blow to the home side and a treat for the tourists.

Sachin is the world’s best batsman without any doubt in the world and this comes as no big thing as such given the class of this ”Little Master”.
Yes Galle indeed always has been treated as the Mecca of Cricket in Sri Lanka.

Yes, it is indeed nice to see that the God of Cricket is duly appreciated by the Hole men. I guess it takes a Zen to know a Zen! Just goes to show that people can really say and scribble whatever they want about the Master but he will always remain on the top step of Cricket world, especially for those who really know and love the sport.

While it was a blow to the home team, that is what you get for preparing a rank turner where it is almost the toss that decides the match. It was nice to see the home fans though enjoying the game despite whatever happens with plenty of music and energy... Something great about the Lankan and Windies fans!!
