I really hope that higher Judiciary do something regarding this publicity seeking or personally harassing cases. Many times it really cost a lot to be a famous peronality.

I really smell something fishy here as it has been quite sometime since the release of movie Lagaan, but not much since Aamir Khan has irked the Gujrat governmnet.

Yes, you must be right about the fact that Gujarat government is behind this in some little way. At the same time it is pretty stunning how a case has been filed on a movie scene that was released in 2002. Pretty much tells you a lot about what is happening when such old stuff is being dug up.

But then I find it pretty stunning that even filming an animal is an offense.

For Chirst’s sake this isn’t as cynical an act as killing one in real as someone else did earlier. I hope that Bollywood’s Perfectionist comes out with a clean chit from the entire mess. I completely am aboard with both attitude and Arjun in this regard. Seriously even i sniff something fishy in this case, seems the govt. has risen from a 6 years long oblivion.

Such cases are the best examples of looking for cheap publicity. Amir Khan did nothing in the movies Lagaan by using Chinkara in one of the scene. Media should not give attention to such kind of news.

Exactly, from not releasing Jodha Akbar in Rajasthan to Fanaa in Gujarat and then dragging celebs into such idiotic lawsuits is nothing more than an example of an empty mind being devils a workshop. People who have nothing better to do will just dig out cases like this and try their hands at being shot to instant fame, such people should really be shot literally! Here are a bunch of people who have made a movie good enough to be nominated for an oscar and all you can do is to think about a chinkara that appeared for like 5 minutes in this rather long movie. People are killing each other these days and getting away with it, let’s get real, this is not even an issue.

I suppose its is not just the fact that they have made excellent films, but the ridiculous nature of this law. I suppose he did not shoot the animal (with the camera, of course)by capturing or torturing it. So taking a picture of a wild animal in its natural habitat is suddenly wrong? Irrespective of the species, logically you just cannot say that it is a crime. I was more amused by the ridiculous nature of this news. I wonder then, how channels like NGC and Discovery work in India.

Still waiting for someone to explain me these laws, as honestly either I got something wrong or this issue just does not make sense.

You are right, there is no need to explain these laws for it is absolutely acceptable for people to click pictures of animals when they visit sanctuaries like Ranthambore and Sariska, we do it, why can’t they? It is a baseless alligation and should be outrightly dismissed. And when it comes to making sense, half or more of the media hype generally lacks that very conspicuously!
